CD Review Genocide  - Human Scum EP

Metal und seine Subgenres haben längst den die ganze Welt erobert. Aus Indonesien kommen viele Bands, die sich Metal, Hardcore oder Punk aus die Fahnen geschrieben haben. Oder, wie Wormrot oder eben Genocide, dem Grindcore. Die Truppe zelebriert auf ihrer ersten EP „Human Scum“ rumpeligen Grind mit rauem Sound, sehr abwechslungsreichen Gesang zwischen Growls, Screams und Pig Squeals, und einer guten Mischung aus schnellen und mittelschnellen Passagen. Einige eher eingängie Parts lockern das Ganze auf, dennoch ist das ganze „brutal as fuck“, weniger auf die technische Art und Weise, sondern vor allem mir direkter, roher Musik!

Genocide rotzen hier in 10 Minuten ein äußerst beeindruckendes Debüt runter, ich freue mich schon mehr von der Band zu hören!

Metal and its subgenres have already conquered the whole world. In Indonesia, there are many bands playing metal, hardcore, or punk. You can also find pretty nice Grindcore Bands, for example Wormrot or Genocide. On their first EP "Human Scum", the four Guys play restless grind with raw sound, very varied vocals between growls, screams and Pigsquals, and a good mix of fast and medium fast passages. Some more catchy parts loosen the whole thing up, yet the whole  EP is "brutal as fuck", less on the technical way, but the raw, ugly and agrressive way.


Genocide run through a very impressive debut in 10 Minutes, I'm looking forward to hear more from the band!
